Successful candidates will by their administrative, professional skills, leadership and service demonstrate they can contribute to the diversity and excellence of athletics the department and our community.This is a part time, (.25 FTE) nine-month position and may be reappointed on an annual basis. No benefits are included. The salary is $11,316.00. Start Date is September 1, 2026**Responsibilities:*** Assist the Head Coach with all aspects of the Cross Country and Track & Field programs with a specific focus on cross country and distance runners* Duties include but are not limited to teaching and coaching of student-athletes at daily practices and team competitions, practice and meet preparation and recruitment of qualified student-athletes**Requirements:*** Bachelor's degree is required* Previous experience as a high school or college coach and/or a strong background as a cross country/track athlete are preferred* USATF Level 1 certification or higher preferred* CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required upon hire.* Must possess a valid US driver license* This position requires a background check including driving record check**Worker Sub-Type**Faculty Fixed (Fixed Term)**Time Type**Part time**EEO Statement****At Wellesley, we embrace and honor difference and diversity.
