Location: Charlotte, NC / Plano, TX


Duration: Fulltime

JOB DESCRIPTION :


Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Strong Background in Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) concepts, dimensional modelling & performance tuning
• Proficiency in Teradata tools & utilities - TPT,BTEQ,FASTLOAD,SASDI
• Advanced SQL skills and Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, SAS DI)
• Familiarity with Teradata Vantage features like QueryGrid, NOS, and clearScape Analytics
• Hands on coding in Python or similar Scripting Languages
• 5+ Years of Experience in Teradata Solutions
• Teradata certified Professional (preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture

1. Lead the design and architecture of enterprise data Wearhouse solution using Teradata
2. Develop integration strategies and performance optimization technique
3. Ensure solutions to comply with enterprise architecture standards and best practices
4. Develop reusable python scripts for automation, data transformation and validation

Platform Strategy & governance

1. Evaluate Teradata platform features and create technology roadmaps
2. Establish platform standards , integration patterns and governance frameworks
3. Perform POC for new capabilities and onboard pilot projects

Technical leadership

1. Provide guidance on Terada utilities
2. Collaborate with cross functional teams
3. Optimize queries, indexing and workload management for high performance

Data Management

1. Oversee ETL/ELT Processes and data migration strategies
2. Ensure Data quality , security and compliance with regulatory requirements
3. Implement best practices for data lifecycle management and metadata governance
