Warehouse SpecialistCGI is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to provide support to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This position will be located within 15 miles of downtown Washington, DC, in the National Capital Region (NCR). Your future duties and responsibilities include performing a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan, verifying materials against receiving documents and noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations, storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials, and reporting deterioration and damage, removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment, and may operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties. Required qualifications include previous warehouse experience, working knowledge of warehousing practices, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Hourly rate is $24.07/hour. CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to skill set level, relevant experience and training, and licensure and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
