We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurse (Psych RN) for a long-term assignment at Summa Health in Akron, Ohio. This position supports a geropsychiatric unit and requires a strong background in psychiatric nursing, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic inpatient environment.
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Start Date: October 18, 2026
End Date: December 26, 2026

Active RN license
2+ years of RN experience
Psychiatric nursing experience
Experience working with geropsychiatric patients preferred
BLS certification required
CPI Blue Card certification from Crisis Prevention Institute required
Must be proficient in drawing blood
Epic experience within the past 1 year required
Epic experience must be clearly listed on your resume, including where you most recently used Epic
Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program through ACEN or CCNE
Must be willing to float as required
Strong clinical assessment and patient-care skills
